The 2016 Yesmail Channel Report surveyed nearly 200 retail marketers about how they use customer data in their email strategy. Here are the highlights:

  • 61% use customer data to personalize subject lines.
  • 42% use it to personalize emails with the recipients’ names.
  • 36% use data to tailor email copy.
  • 10% don’t personalize brand emails at all.
